世界獣医師会(WVA)は、2026年6月30日、国際獣疫事務局(WOAH)が、臨時作業部会による「Report of the meetings of the ad hoc group on prioritisation of diseases for which vaccines could reduce global antibiotic use in animals (PROEVA)」を報告したと発表した(参照：WOAH News「WOAH updates priority disease lists to advance vaccination and reduce antimicrobial use in animals」)。
この報告書はワクチン接種により世界的な動物用抗菌薬使用を削減できる疾病の優先順位付けに関する報告書。これは、第79回国連総会における「抗菌薬耐性(AMR)に関する政治宣言」の「Commitment #72」に応えたもの。2030年までのワクチン接種戦略の確実な整備が各国に求められている。
WOAHは、2015年と2018年にもリストを作成していたが、それが更新されたことになる。
